Keith is a Southern California-based Senior Partner at EY Advisory with a 20-year record as a trusted advisor, practice leader and corporate innovator, serially effective in sensing, monetizing and scaling “what’s next.” As the first EY Global Advisory Leader for AI, Keith works in all regions, sectors and offerings, infusing AI across the portfolio and evangelizing the role of robotic, intelligent and autonomous systems in the transformation of business operations and human experiences. Keith is a frequent Keynote Speaker, Academic Guest Lecturer, Blogger and Forbes Contributing Author. Speaking engagements in 2018 included VivaTech in Paris, SAP’s Sapphire Conference in Orlando, California Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco, AI Pioneers Forum in New York, Public Sector Service Design Conference in Tallinn, and the Shanghai Institute for International Studies Summit on National Security AI in Shanghai.
Keith’s broad domain knowledge leads him to passionately plumb the intersection of human performance, user experience, organizational design, digital connectivity and data science. Some specific areas of recent work include formulating a model for computational luxury, a roadmap for an autonomous scientific discovery machine, a personality design matrix for conversational AI experiences, a framework for Trusted AI, a vision for an Autonomous Utility Grid, and a radically new approach to technology adoption based on behavioral economics and viral marketing.
Keith is a trusted advisor to public and private sector leadership teams in nearly every sector of the global economy, including Oil & Gas, Mining, Media, Life Sciences, Telecommunications, Law Enforcement and Manufacturing. Keith is particularly proud of his role advising the Government of Estonia, United Nations Center for AI & Robotics at The Hague and Canadian Blood Services. Keith’s role as the lead AI strategy advisor to the CIO of Estonia was profiled in the Wall Street Journal in November 2018.
Prior to joining EY, Keith was a Partner at Deloitte Consulting. As a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Healthcare & Life Science Practice, Keith conceived and launched a new practice focused on healthcare and biomedical informatics, which set the foundation for what is today a market-leading business, Deloitte Health Informatics. At this time, Keith also became a Guest Lecturer and Industry Liaison for the Center for BioMedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, a collaboration that lasted over ten years. After serving as the Global Lead Client Service Partner for Amgen and Life Technologies, Keith was appointed by the Global CIO as the firm’s first Global Managing Partner, Digital Innovation (“Chief Digital Officer”), working within Deloitte’s $1.1B Global IT organization. In this role, Keith conceived and designed the world’s first native iPad enterprise productivity suite, EDGEfolio, which was showcased on apple.com as one of twelve Breakthrough Enterprise iPad apps of the year; this also became the basis for Deloitte winning a CIO100 Award. From 2011 – 2013, Keith led the development and activation of a digital workplace experience for 225,000 employees, spearheading the adoption of a user-centric IT model, a global digital infrastructure, a multi-platform enterprise app store and the first generation of custom mobile and web apps.
Keith has a Bachelor’s of Science with Honors from Cornell University and a JD from NYU School of Law.
