  • How to Be a Great Leader in Exponential Times

Learn How to Take Immediate Action to Ignite Innovation and Lead Your Organization to Success

Even though many business and government leaders have seen the power of technological disruption firsthand, they often fail to pivot and adopt a new approach.

That’s because becoming a great leader in today’s exponential times requires not only a great amount of vision, but the ability to thrive in ambiguity, seek out ideas through experimentation, to inspire and empower others, and a willingness to have the know-how and willingness to undertake hands-on attempts at innovative projects.

That might seem like a great deal to ask of anyone, but there’s good news: these skills can be learned.

Lisa Kay Solomon details the strategies leaders can incorporate to build bold, abundant futures. She’ll share concrete, actionable steps so you can embrace all the ambiguity and possibility of today’s world. She’ll provide methods for overcoming roadblocks to progress in organizations clinging to outmoded cultures of resistance and pessimism.

    In this talk, you will:
    – Understand exactly what leadership skills are required to thrive in exponential times
    – Examine strategies for combatting and rising above institutional negativity and the issues affecting our VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) world
    – Develop a personal plan for establishing a leadership strategy incorporating traits from the perspectives of a futurist, innovator, technologist and humanitarian
    – Identify ways to dream boldly by fostering discovery mindsets, promoting imaginative brainstorming through techniques like backcasting, and working towards transforming scarcity into a wealth of abundant opportunities for your organization and society.
