Bio

Britta Ossim is a Curriculum Specialist at Singularity University. She works with the other members of the Curriculum and Learning Design team to support program staff and faculty. Her particular focus is on the alignment of our diverse programs with SU’s overarching curriculum. Her interest in curriculum frameworks developed while she earned her Master of Arts degree in Teaching at Earlham College’s Graduate School of Education. Britta taught high school literature and writing before moving to the private sector in 2014. She designed courses and created educational content for adult learners at a Chicago-based company, and later, she collaborated with software engineers and stakeholders as a product manager. Before joining Singularity University, Britta was a curriculum designer at a leading edtech company. She brings experience with curriculum mapping, learning standards alignment, and outcomes-based curriculum design.

As an undergraduate, Britta studied English Language and Literature at Grand Valley State University’s Frederik Meijer Honors College. She’s originally from Michigan and will happily discuss cherries and lake-effect snow. Britta lives in Seattle with her husband and dog.
