Catherine is the Vice President of Executive Education, overseeing our Open Enrollment offerings including the flagship Executive Program. She joins SU on the heels of a 12 year tenure at Google. While there, she was a founding member of their Executive Development function, creating and delivering world-recognized leadership development strategies and programs aimed at growing Google’s most senior leaders.
Catherine is passionate about helping leaders navigate complexity and maximize their positive impact. Her specific areas of research and expertise include curriculum strategy, exploring the connection between well-being and performance, developing leaders’ learning agility, and women in leadership. She launched the first ever executive leadership program for women at Google as well as the first ever well-being focused program.
A passionate and experienced educator, she holds a Masters in Education from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a BA in Sociology from University of California Los Angeles.
When not at work, you can find her hiking the trails of the foothills, in the pool at an ungodly hour of the morning, or playing with her kids. She lives in Portola Valley, CA with her husband Scott, two kids (Abby, 12 and Parker, 8) and crazy energetic puppy, Kona.
