Foster Kamer is the content director of Futurism and an award-winning writer and editor based out of New York with over a decade of experience in the media industry. He was previously the global managing editor of Mashable, executive editor of Mental_Floss magazine, and has held positions at Complex, The New York Observer, Esquire, and The Village Voice. His editorial work has also been published in The New York Times, Vox, New York Magazine, and Gossamer; his branded/consulting work includes clients like Nike and The Standard, among others.
At Singularity, Foster has worked across most if not all of the editorial content-facing pieces of the company, but his first charge is working to oversee Futurism’s editorial offerings and help build/execute audience and business development strategy. With Futurism’s publisher James Del, he’s working to bring Futurism readers to Singularity’s Global Community, and Singularity community members to Futurism. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Foster saw Frank Sinatra live in fourth grade, can teach you how to play craps, and once helped clean out the vault at the Bellagio with ten of his friends. Finally, it’s K-A-M-E-R, not K-R-A-M-E-R.
