Gregory Ware joined Singularity University’s strategic relations team to help support its growing enterprise portfolio with a focus on entertainment & media, sports and leisure.
Before joining SU, he was the former vice president and co-founder at ScaleFunder, a Ruffalo Noel Levitz platform. ScaleFunder is the leading crowdfunding and online giving SaaS platform in higher education. Ruffalo Noel Levitz, a leader in the nonprofit fundraising and enrollment space successfully acquired ScaleFunder in 2014. Post-acquisition, his primary focus was client acquisition and development, product evolution and expanding the ScaleFunder technology into new verticals.
Gregory spent over five years in development and innovation at UCLA as the former director of business partnerships for UCLA’s corporate, foundation and research relations department. He was responsible for project management, business analysis, private-sector partnership development and lead generation. He managed a multimillion-dollar corporate partnership portfolio, which included many Fortune 50 clients.
Outside of the office, Gregory volunteers as a steering committee member for the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program at the Magic Johnson Foundation. The program empowers minority students through financial support, mentorship, and internship opportunities during their college experience. Gregory enjoys traveling with his wife, Rebecca, trying new restaurants, fitness training and spending time with their three “furbabies” Dakota, Chelsea and Madden. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Pitzer College and is currently a USC Marshall Executive MBA Candidate.
