Paul is an Innovation Design and Facilitation Professional with almost 20 years of experience in the fields of Strategic Innovation and Creative Change, Economics, and Media and Entertainment, including 8 years at international consulting firm Synecticsworld, and 8 years at global economics organization IHS Global Insights.
Employing the deep and powerful multidisciplinary processes, Paul designs, facilitates, and trains Fortune 500 organizations and their leadership teams to create innovative, strategic business solutions and to build agility into their organizations to create the type of change that drives growth.
Paul’s innovation design includes establishing a rich and diverse stimuli base, to build the essential context of innovation-for-what-purpose into a company’s innovation portfolio. It is this rich base of external stimuli that sparks creativity, and Paul engages experts from analogous worlds to provide inputs and experiences that provoke profoundly new thinking about customer needs and invention designs.
As a trained Economist, Paul has a deep understanding of quantitative and predictive analysis. As an Economist, he worked with his clients to conceive and develop innovative economic studies to illuminate the impact of our clients’ concerns by congressional voting districts. Paul was the lead economist in spearheading Standard & Poor’s DRI (now IHS Global Insights) foray into consulting services to the Washington, D.C. based trade associations and lobbying industry.
Paul’s diverse background includes degrees from Queen’s University in Canada; a Master’s Degree in Economics focusing on development economics and international responses to sovereign debt crises, and a BScH in Life Sciences. Paul’s work in the entertainment field includes over 50 network Television and Film IMDB credits, the creation and development of the TV drama series “PINCH” for the Canadian Broadcast Corporation, and the production and marketing of films under the banners of Handbag Pictures LLC and Pinch Productions, LLC.
