Russ Muzzolini has been working as a SW developer and Executive at several Tech companies in the Bay area for over 20 years.
After completing his Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Saskatchewan in the late 90s, he relocated to California. In 1999 at the peak of the .com era Russ joined a small series A photo startup called Shutterfly as an SW developer. After 14 years of e-commerce, tens of millions of baby photos, and several billion dollars in revenue he left his VP of Engineering role to take on CTO gigs at totally different businesses from building, launching, and operating satellites in space, to fixing cars in a customer’s driveway.
Over the past few years, Russ has been helping startups in advisory and consulting roles. He has recently joined the Singularity team as an agent of change with a singular focus of helping us to achieve our mission of “Impacting 1 billion people”. Looking ahead, he will continue to both lead and support defining and delivering our enterprise product roadmap.
Russ has many side projects but one that stands out is his dedication to performing almost 200 choreographed music and light shows for our local community in 2020 alone. He’s also been lucky enough to spend more time collaborating with his family on their little food startup in Canada called Moda Market.
