Erick Thürmer has transformed his great grandfather’s 125-year-old and traditional tool-business into an innovative, successful and purpose-driven business, merging past, present and future. Through his transformational leadership style, Erick Thürmer has taken the family business from Titanic to Amazon, from the outskirts of Copenhagen to outer space and the production from China and back home to Denmark, focusing on local sustainable production on demand. Thürmer Tools has been awarded leading digital company in Denmark and granted €1.6 million to develop the 3D business based on a 3D patent. The company is also part of the European Horizon Framework Programme and winner of the SAPs ThinkX Award. While developing the new 3D business, Thürmer Tools has managed to triple its turnover with the traditional business and a very local approach.
In 2020, Erick Thürmer published the bestseller “The Spiritual CEO – Thürmer in 3D”, where he shares his incredible and inspiring business journey with Thürmer Tools and empowering leadership lessons.
He is an appointed member of “The Disruption Council: A partnership for Denmark’s Future” established by the Danish government to ensure the optimal implementation and adaption of technology and digitalisation in Denmark and Advisory Board Member of the Disruption Taskforce under the Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs. He is also substitut for the Danish Parliament.
