Jonathan Knowles is a globally recognized futurist, innovation strategist, and technology thought leader with over 20 years of executive experience in Silicon Valley, including leadership roles at Apple, Adobe, and Autodesk. A founding faculty member and former Head of Faculty at Singularity University, Jonathan currently serves as the Distinguished Fellow for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Exploration at the institution, where he explores the dynamics of large-scale, long-term change and the evolving role of applied innovation. He is the Science and Exploration Fellow at Mission Blue—The Sylvia Earle Alliance, an Advisor to Schmidt Marine Technology Partners (a program of the Schmidt Family Foundation), Ideation Director at the NASA Frontier Development Lab, and Exploration Officer for the California Coastal Exploration Academy vessel E/V Discovery.
