Reynolds has spent much of her career in two different worlds that both center their business around foresight. Prior to design, she spent several years working for an investment firm in New York, where she learned that logic and research could be creative. Investing is like trying to predict the future, it synthesizes information and sees the unseen. Design is the perfect combination of analytics and creativity. Reynolds designs like an investor, with hopes of shaping and predicting the future. She loves using her creativity to future-cast and build worlds that don’t exist yet. Whether working with scientists at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory or strategists at BMW Designworks, she has used design to create new pathways and find untapped opportunities in new and non-traditional places.
