Christopher Ewald

Chris Ewald is Director, Community at Singularity. He works with Singularity’s Global Chapters, alumni, experts and start-ups on impact projects around the globe.

He is an expert community builder, having spent the last sixteen years building online communities for a variety of companies working in Marketing, Healthcare and Computer Software. Previous to his work building online communities, Chris was Managing Editor at Compact Publishing, producing the first digital products for Time Magazine, CNN, McGraw-Hill and other publishers. He worked with Intel developing innovations in digital video delivery and with start-ups in financial publishing, e-commerce and home energy efficiency, building teams and managing the production of their online products.

For the last six years he has volunteered with the Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center, an NGO in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, working to collect, preserve and promote the country’s cultural memories and train the next generation of Cambodia’s filmmakers.
